This is not medical advice. The content on this website and in the Evidence-Based Health newsletter is for educational and informational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it does not create a clinician-patient relationship of any kind.

1. Educational content only

All content published by Evidence-Based Health — including articles, newsletter issues, and social media posts — is intended solely to provide general health education. It is based on publicly available research and the author’s clinical experience and perspective, but it is not personalized to your individual health situation.

2. Not a substitute for professional medical care

Nothing on this site is a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of your physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner, or other qualified health provider with any questions you have regarding a medical condition, medication, or treatment plan.

Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read here.

3. No clinician–patient relationship

Subscribing to the newsletter, reading the website, following on social media, or communicating with Evidence-Based Health by email does not create a clinician–patient or provider–patient relationship. The author is presenting general educational information, not rendering individual clinical judgment.

4. Medications and treatments

References to medications (including testosterone replacement therapy, GLP-1 receptor agonists, peptides, or any other pharmacological agents) are for general educational discussion of publicly available evidence only. They are not a recommendation, endorsement, or prescription for any individual. Starting, stopping, or changing any medication requires a conversation with a licensed clinician who knows your complete health history.

5. Accuracy and currency of information

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the information presented is accurate and based on current evidence, medical knowledge evolves rapidly. Information may become outdated. We do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any content.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (or your local emergency number) immediately or go to the nearest emergency department. Do not attempt to diagnose or treat any emergency based on content from this site.

6. Individual variation

Health information that applies generally may not apply to your specific situation. Individual responses to diet, exercise, medications, and other interventions vary widely. What works for one person may be inappropriate or harmful for another.

7. Affiliate and commercial relationships

Evidence-Based Health does not currently have paid relationships with pharmaceutical companies, supplement manufacturers, or device makers. If this changes, it will be clearly disclosed. The author has no financial incentive to recommend any specific product or treatment.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Evidence-Based Health and its author disclaim all liability for any loss, injury, or damage arising from reliance on information provided on this site or in the newsletter. Your use of this content is entirely at your own risk.
